Residual Gathering was the result of an artistic experiment, an experiment exploring art’s potential for creating a space of action, for physical and cognitive ties to be woven. I asked two artists, Sarah Berners and Biatta Kelly, both unaware of the other’s practice, to respond to the gallery space, and each other’s work.
As an experiment, this exhibition is born from unpredictability, an experiment being a process of investigation in which the unknowable and unforeseeable may occur.
